This intensive 4-day course explores the most effective methods for using the built in power of SharePoint. Installation is only a small part of what you need to know and our experienced instructors have developed this course using the methods they have learned from real world problems. Using that real world experience this class will present in-depth discussion of methods for achieving maximum performance, stability and availability. Learn the techniques that apply best to your environment while exploring the advance topics that can take your project to the next level. After this course you will have a solid understanding of Server Farms, Shared Service Providers, Forms Based Authentication, and other advanced administration concepts you will need to create the best SharePoint platform possible.
Prerequisites:
Attendees should have professional experience with system administration in a Windows network environment. Attendees should have previous experience installing and configuring Windows Server 2003, Active Directory and SQL Server. It is recommended (but not required) that attendees have previous experience working with SharePoint sites from the user perspective.
